  • Update from the MCBN Newsdesk

    I am so thrilled with what has been happening in my life lately.  First off, some news updates for all of you around the Northeastern PA area and also reaching out to my VFCC community.
    Here in NEPA, there has been a lot of stuff going on with ministry.  I just got done last week with Good News Day Camp through Child Evangelism Fellowship of Lackawanna County.  Also, I helped with Hamlin A/G's VBS in the middle of July.  Now I am just winding down, regaining sanity so I am pumped and ready for more VFCC action soon.
    Two concerts are coming up at Peckville Assembly of God this fall including Lincoln Brewster (October 22nd) and Denver & the Mile High Orchestra (DMHO) (December 10th).  Both dates are Thursdays and at 7pm.  Check out www.peckvilleag.org or www.itickets.com for more information and tickets.  Also, a car show is scheduled for August 23rd from 2-7pm at Peckville Assembly. Everyone is welcome.
    In other news, VFCC begins the 2009-2010 school year with students returning within the next couple weeks.  Classes start August 25th.
    Also, if you do not know through Facebook or talking to me, I am now dating someone and the relationship is going on 3 months already. August 30th is 3 months that my sweet darling Caitlin and I have been dating.  We are looking forward to seeing each other the week before when she returns to campus on the 23rd.

    I will be at the MCBN Studios in Phoenixville come Sunday the 16th so updates may come more frequently.

  • anointed fun

    Tonight was the bonfire...but it wasnt here at home...It was at an older couple's house  and we had fun and all of us were blessed.  Once I have the message edited, it will be on the ministry website so make sure you get it if you can and want it.  I will let you know when it's up.

    I am just gonna relax 4 the rest of the night...catch y'all 2mrw here on MCBN and from our Peckville studios.

  • Confused as ever

    I get confused easily anymore when it comes to relationships.  I don't know what to do have the time with everything.  Sure, things are working out fine because this girl and I were slightly rushing it.  The confusing thing is that I am bummed about it because I am so used to an on-the-go lifestyle that the way the relationship was going was so comfortable and so natural.  In a way, I thought we weren't rushing into things because we were just talking and picking each other's brains for likes and dislikes and such.  I know I wasn't ready to make a strong commitment yet, even though that's what I am looking for.  I need to make sure I am able to support a wife and family first before I can really commit to anything.  Working in fast food won't get me that far unless I work 20-some years or more living in poverty with the way gas is going up and everything else is inflating.

    I know that the girl is going to be reading this and that is why I am so candid about this because it's important for me to get this across.  Yes, I do like her and possibly love her, but I am so confused since I was in love with someone who was very close to me all my life and that girl and I just started talking again.

    My desire is to marry someone who is strong in her faith and can relate to me on many levels.  I am hoping it all just figures itself out, so I can rest easy.

  • Finding the Right One

    Some guys are so lucky that they should leprechauns and others have been in ruts that they've gone nuts.  Up until July 22nd, I felt like I've gone nuts.  Since the day I returned to Peckville Assembly of God, my future has been getting brighter and brighter (despite working in fast food).  The most recent change has been very nice and slightly unexpected.  I went onto Faithbase.com because I haven't had any luck with dating so I figured I might find someone would see me for who I am.  I didn't really expect to find someone that would be the one who really relates to me.  Turns out I was wrong and the Lord works in mysterious and comical ways.

    I have been happy and comfortable with talking to the girl I met and she feels the same way...I don't know what's going to happen but it looks very good.  I can't wait for things to unfold for me and her.

    Catch y'all on the flip side and whoever wants to come, there is a bonfire at my house in Mount Cobb on Saturday beginning at 4 or 4:30.
